Senior Consultant: Internet Advertising Technology Specialist

Responsibilities:
- Provide subject matter expertise to clients and Deloitte staff on internet advertising technology and processes in areas such as:
Ad serving system implementation and roll outs Internet advertising technology and process controls MRC accreditation and IAB compliance Revenue maximization / scheduling and rate card optimization Ad operations / traffic management controls Advertising Networks & Exchanges
- Understand complex business and information technology management processes
- Execute advanced services and supervise staff in delivering basic services
- Assist in the selection and tailoring of approaches, methods and tools to support service offering or industry projects
- Understand client's business environment and basic risk management approaches
- Demonstrate a general knowledge of market trends, competitor activities, Deloitte & Touche's products and service lines
- Actively participate in decision making with engagement management and seek to understand the broader impact of current decisions
- Generate innovative ideas and challenge the status quo
- Build and nurture positive working relationships with clients with the intention to exceed client expectations
- Facilitate use of technology-based tools or methodologies to review, design and/or implement products and services
- Identify opportunities to improve engagement profitability
- Participate in and actively support mentoring relationships within practice
- Excellent potential for 1) playing lead role in designated tasks of the project team in gathering, organizing and analyzing data; 2) making major contributions in assuring products/deliverables meet contract/work plan and; 3) strong potential for growth and acceptance of additional responsibilities
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of internet advertising technology / ad trafficking experience
- 2+ years experience in ad operations management working with online ad sales, preferably with a top Internet destination site, ad network provider or advertising agency
- Experience with HTML, DHTML, Javascript, browser technologies, cookies, and web oriented applications, Flash, Rich Media, Video Encoding .
- Strong knowledge of ad servers from both publisher-side (24/7 Realmedia, aka OAS, DART DFP, ATLAS AdManger), and advertiser-side (DFA, Atlas, Eye-Blaster, PointRoll etc.)
- Comprehensive understanding of campaign success metrics: CPM, CPC, conversions
- Technical support, engineering, or software development experience a plus.
- Experience in mobile or electronic in-game ad serving a plus
- Experience with video advertising a plus
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Able to understand the business process and work in a team environment
- Demonstrated ability to write report segments and to participate in presentations.
- Prior consulting experience a plus.
- Strong analytical, decision-making and problem solving skills and abilities
- Dependable, motivated and flexible self-starter; adaptive to change and tight deadlines
- A willingness to increase scope of responsibility quickly
- Willingness to travel up to 50% (travel will vary depending on office location).
- BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
