The incumbent in this position will assist the Chief Compliance and Privacy Officer with the implementation and maintenance of a coordinated and integrated Corporate Compliance Program at Intermountain Healthcare. Intermountain’s Corporate Compliance Program is a system-wide program that serves to promote a culture of compliance and ethics, ensure quality of care, and reduce Intermountain’s risk of government audits, fines, penalties, or sanctions (e.g., expulsion from the Medicare Program).  To further Intermountain’s Corporate Compliance Program, program staff work with Intermountain executives, Intermountain’s Legal Department, Work Group Specialists, Site Compliance Specialists, hospitals and other Intermountain entities, program directors, physicians and staff.The Compliance Auditor will operate as an integral team member in furthering the collaboration of the Compliance Program with the Quality, Case Management, and Nursing programs.In addition, the incumbent will effectively manage assigned projects:a.         Serve as the Compliance Program’s liaison to Quality, Case            Management, and Nursing support services.b.         Implement a coordinated auditing program as designated by the Chief Compliance Officer.    Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in health care related field RN or other professional Clinical Practioner required. Minimum of 7 years experience in clinical care delivery, outcomes monitoring or auditing. Knowledge of, and experience with, Federal and State health care regulations. Strong problem solving and organizational skills. Ability to clearly communicate complex issues and concepts orally and in writing. Ability to effectively and confidentiality advise and interact with all levels of personnel. Ability to work in a team management environment and to develop appropriate relationships that foster a positive work atmosphere and support Intermountain Healthcare’s Mission, Vision, and Values. Ability to efficiently use computer programs necessary to complete work requirements (ie:  Word, Excel, etc…). Experience working on projects with a team and filling various roles such as team member, facilitator, leader, etc.
