Senior Chemist, Quality Control Technical Support located in our
Pomona, New York offices.
Position Summary: This position offers the ability to work with our dynamic Quality Control Technical Support group to develop/ optimize/ validate/ transfer analytical test methods. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated, success driven professional with excellent analytical development skills to join a fast paced, rapidly growing organization.
Responsibilities include: Development/Optimization/Validation/Transfer of Analytical Test Methods Qualification of API Vendor Analytical Test Methods Alternate API Supplier Qualification USP PF Evaluations Verification of and/or Demonstration of Equivalency to Compendial Methods Evaluation of New Technologies
Position Requirements include: PhD degree with a minimum of 2+ years experience in a US Pharmaceutical method development environment or BS/MS degree, with a minimum of 5+ years experience in a Pharmaceutical method development/Quality Control environment. Familiarity with USP/ICH requirements for analytical method validation and compendial method verification is required. Familiarity with standard laboratory techniques including but not limited to HPLC, GC, FTIR and UV is required. Familiarity with advanced technologies, including but not limited to UPLC, Ion chromatography, as well as automated laboratory equipment and method transfers is preferred Strong communication skills-both verbal and written
