Description: Eaton Corporation located in Jackson, MI has an opening for a Sr. Financial/Cost Analyst at its Hydraulic Cylinder Plant.

The incumbent will provide financial analysis/reporting/cost analysis and Sarbanes-Oxley support to the Jackson/White City OR operations. They will support manufacturing managers with labor/burden rates by cell, manufacturing variance analysis, and monthly forecasting. Other key duties include: preparing profit and loss statements, balance sheets, various required reporting for presentations, support monthly closing and forecasting cycles and other periodic cycles including Profit Plan, Inventory, Standard Cost Roll, LIFO, and Fixed Asset Inventory. Takes a lead role within the Cylinders Business Unit to handle increasing requirements for cost analysis, proforma's for new business ventures and post-mortem analysis of large project implementations.

517 Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting- CMA, CPA, Master's in Accounting/Finance or MBA are preferred. 2+ years manufacturing cost experience and 3+ years total experience, in accounting or finance positions. Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, proficiency using Microsoft applications including Excel, Work, Access and Powerpoint. Demonstrated cost analysis capabilities. Significant knowledge of MfgPro and Oracle Financials software a strong plus. Experience using data-mining tools such as Excel, Access, etc. preferred. Strong team player able to successfully complete complex projects with minimal direction, evident leadership qualities, strongly self-motivated, a self-starter with proven track record of accomplishment on complex and ambiguous projects.
