Our client, the 17th largest aviation consulting firm in the U.S., has an exceptional opportunity for an experienced airport engineer in their Scottsdale, Arizona office.  Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to: leading the efforts for airport engineering for GA and Air Carrier airports, project management; assisting in marketing and business development; and overseeing technical work. Travel will be necessary. 

The successful candidate must have a bachelor’s degree or higher in civil engineering and at least five years of relevant experience with airport design and construction management. Professional registration as an engineer in AZ (or ability to obtain within six months of hire date) is also required. 

The ideal candidate will have experience in airport design and construction management in Arizona.  The ideal candidate will also be self-motivated; able to handle a fast-paced position; able to work well under pressure; goal- and deadline-oriented; and will possess good writing skills; good organizational and communication skills; good problem-solving ability; good listening skills; and the ability to take and carry out instructions.
