We are currently recruiting for a Senior Accountant. Candidate will be responsible for performing general accounting procedures as assigned, such as preparing and posting journal entries, performing assigned account reconciliations, preparing and/or analyzing financial records for consistency, accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations, and supporting and/or preparing government accounting reports.

The successful candidate should possess and be able to demonstrate the following: working knowledge of accounting principles and procedures ability to use sound judgment in applying accounting principles strong analytical skills and business acumen ability to work independently with minimal supervision provide assistance to other staff members as required attention to detail good verbal and written communication skills organizational skills and multi-task orientation good personal computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite)
Required Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or similar is required with a minimum of 3 years accounting or finance experience. Government contract accounting experience is preferred. Active Maryland CPA license is preferred. Experience with Oracle ERP system is preferred.
Must be a U.S. citizen. Must be able to obtain/maintain a government security clearance.
