We are currently recruiting for a Senior Accountant in the Colorado Springs, CO area.

Recent experience with Deltek Costpoint, a must. Expert knowledge of Implementations and Configurations within Costpoint preferred.

Assist other Costpoint Consultants with knowledge and expertise as needed. Expert knowledge of all Costpoint modules, including Projects, Cost Pools, and intuitive ability in developing organizational strategies needed. CPA preferred but not required.

Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook required, Cognos Impromptu, Visio, MS Project helpful.

Excellent time management and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and to direct the work of others. Candidate will supervise one or more employees.

Experience: 5 years of Senior level accounting experience in a government contracting environment.

The Senior Accountant will manage the accounting staff and have overall responsibility for all the clients accounting functions including accounts payable, contract billing and accounts receivable, contract revenue calculations, contract cost accumulation and reporting, indirect rate calculations, payroll, fixed assets and monthly financial statement preparation.

The Senior Accountant will work directly with the client and interface with all levels of management, including project managers as well as senior management.  Will develop and monitor indirect rate structures, complete budgets and forecasts and prepare DCAA forward pricing proposals, incurred cost submissions and other DCAA reports as required.
