Description:
Volt is partnering with a world leader in devices that optimize the delivery and use of electricity, gas and water. It is currently experiencing exponential growth and is looking for someone interested in career advancement opportunities as a Senior Accountant for Fixed Assets. Responsibilities include: developing, implementing and/or maintaining fixed asset system: adding, disposing, transferring, updating assets for multiple sites/locations. Monitor CIP (construction in process) account; in-depth understanding of GAAP requirements to ensure compliance to GAAP and Company policies, including treatment of leases, depreciation methods, and useful lives. Position is responsible for driving process improvements in these areas: interactions with Operations, Treasury, and Tax, asset custody, FA module, reporting capabilities, virtual team building, upfront approvals and authorization, forecasting & budgeting. Provides record of assets, liabilities and other financial transactions. Ability to build strong internal and external business partnerships. Partner with IT on end user specifications, testing and deployment of fixed asset modules for our global company. Volt Services Group is an equal opportunity employer.

8 years related experience and Bachelors in Accounting or Finance
