Senior Accountant (MBS Product Manager)

Function:

Daily review and analysis of income and expenses generated by MBS and all other investments; review of all open items and clearing of open items; ability to use automated reports with MBS system and Bloomberg. Responsible for preparing multiple reports for regulatory filing in an automated environment. Ability to develop complex spreadsheets. Ability to explain to other accounting personnel product information about MBS.

 

Requirements:

BA/BS in Accounting or Finance.Minimum five years with Mortgage-backed securities back-office functions with strong knowledge of MBS and MBS processing systems. Professional, technical, interpersonal, communication and computer skills commensurate with experience.Significant experience in the back-office maintenance and accounting of fixed and structured financial instruments; experience and interest in working with systems and technologies that account process such securities.
