The Senior Account Executive reports to the District Sales Manager or District Sales Director. Responsibilities include: - Managing Georgia-Pacific's (GP) Foodservice business in their designated territory. They will manage a portfolio of at least 150 end-user accounts and various distributor customers. - Developing and managing annual growth plans with strategic distributor customers. - Working with key end-users to create demand for GP lead products and supports local sales efforts of non-assigned Distributor Sales Reps (DSRs) through end-user activity within their primary segments of focus. - Serving as a mentor for new sales hires within their district. - Serving as backup for the district sales manager when unavailable. - And or serving as a region representative on a Segment Advisory Board. Education: Bachelors degree required. Basic Qualifications: - 5 or more years of progressive work or educational experience in a sales, managerial, leadership, customer service and or relationship building role. - Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel skills are required. - Valid US Driver's License required. Knowledge - Skills - Abilities: - Demonstrated ability to successfully sell a value-added portfolio of products employing a consultative, problem-solving approach. - Demonstrated ability to work independently against a variety of objectives using time management skills to meet and exceed internal or external customer expectations. - Demonstrated ability to collaboratively lead cross-functional initiatives to successful outcomes without direct authority. - Strong communications skills including oral, written, presentation and active listening. - Demonstrated ability to view problems, issues and needs from a customers perspective and incorporating creative problem solving techniques to identify appropriate solutions. - Demonstrated ability to maintain consistently updated customer activity reports or files and or similar data-mining capabilities. - Demonstrated ability for continuous learning in a highly competitive, fast changing market place.
