The College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering (CSNE, http://cnse.albany.edu/) is seeking applicants for the position of Senior Front-End Process Integration Engineer to work in its 300mm semiconductor development facilities. The successful applicant will work closely with process development engineers to develop and implement 32nm and beyond Front-End CMOS process technologies.

Incumbent’s responsibilities will include but may not be limited to: Oversee module development, define recipe development and transfer, work in a team environment to carry out module development and improving module performance, demonstrate proficiency in experimental design and statistical analysis, conduct and analyze experiments to fully characterize device performance, materials and processes throughout the development cycle, work with cross functional teams to solve technical process and defect challenges.

Qualifications:

M.S., Ph.D. or equivalent experience in an Engineering and/or Science discipline such as Materials Science and/or Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Bioengineering, Biochemical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics and Chemistry from a college or university accredited by the USDOE or internationally recognized accrediting organization with at least 3 years of semiconductor industry experience. Previous Integration experience is a plus.

This position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must posses advanced knowledge of CMOS device performance and characteristics. CNSE is a multi-client, consortium environment, and the successful individual must demonstrate excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment is a must. Ability to lead and influence others without direct managerial authority is required.

Employment is through The Research Foundation and is contingent upon continued funding. Salary is dependent upon experience. The Research Foundation of SUNY offers a competitive salary and exceptional fringe benefit package.
