A semiconductor company in Salt Lake is looking for a Customer Service Technician.

This person will be responsible for sustaining capital equipment for use in the semiconductor industry at the customer site. Employee will perform all duties associated with keeping the equipment fully functional and producing sellable product. Employee will be expected to perform preventative maintenance, downloading modules, teaching robots, performing tests, and operating the machine to required specifications. In addition, this employee will actively participate in meetings with other departments and at customer sites. Finally, this person will document all issues faithfully and drive corrective actions for problems experienced at the customer site through established procedures.

Specific Skills:

-Must be able to operate multimeters, power supplies and other test equipment
-A minimum 2 year degree in electromechanical/electronics or equivalent experience
-At least 2 years of equipment maintenance experience in semiconductor
-At least 4 years experience in testing/troubleshooting mechanical/electromechanical assemblies
-UNIX, Labview experience helpful
-Must be able to read blueprints, work instructions, schematics
-Must possess good troubleshooting skills, (but not to component level)
-Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Project
