Store Leadership

Take the lead. As a member of the leadership team, you'll make sure Target guests get a great shopping experience with every visit. Plus, you'll motivate and inspire store team members to consistently deliver their best.


Purpose

As an Executive Team Leader - Assets Protection, you'll supervise and administer our Assets Protection programs, upholding the reliability of your store's security measures at every step. In addition, you'll build and develop your store's Assets Protection team to ensure these programs are carried out accurately and consistently, creating a positive shopping experience for our guests and a safe work environment for our team. Your three major areas of responsibility include team member management, store leadership and community service.

Keeping our stores safe and secure against loss from theft and fraudInitiating investigations and interviews when losses occurAssisting with recruiting and hiring of your teamReceiving extensive training to help you become a strong store executive leaderProviding your team with orientation and training, counseling and coaching and on-the-job supportEnsuring a great guest experience by interacting with guests and team membersFollowing through on all mandated safety programs to reduce lossesMaintaining positive working relationships with local political, educational and law enforcement officials and agencies
Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

4-year college degree or equivalent work experienceTwo or more years of retail merchandising, investigative or operations management experienceExperience in conducting interviewsAbility to work with highly confidential informationAbility to move about all areas of the store quickly and without attracting attention, including climbing ladders and maneuvering in and out of confined areasAbility to apprehend guests and team members in a calm, professional and diplomatic mannerFlexible work hours including some nights and weekendsSupervisor level experienceProve conflict management skills See The Rewards
