Ultimate Staffing is currently seeking a Security officer to work a long term position with an international gaming manufacturer in Las Vegas, NV.  The schedule is Saturday/Sunday 12:30pm to 11:00pm and Monday/Tuesday 11:00pm to 7:30am.  Must be flexible to work a different shift if necessary. 

This position will be required to maintain daily duty logs and other reports as required.  Monitor alarm console, CCTV and video for headquarters and facilities across the country.  Control access to buildings.  May provide relief for phone operator for breaks and lunch hour.  Issue and control access badges to guests, vendors, employees and contractor personnel when required.  Report security/safety violations and any discrepancies in procedure to the Director of Security or site supervisor.  Monitor fire control system and take appropriate action as required. Take accident reports and provide first aid as required.

A qualified candidate will have 1-2 years experience working with a security/camera monitoring system.  Basic computer skills to access and retrieve information; write reports.  Good interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills.  Must pass a hair drug screen, background check, have a valid Nevada drivers license and be able to assist disabled personnel up or down stairs in an emergency.  Must have a GED or High School diploma.
