Description: Reporting to the Senior Manager, Information Security Operations, the candidate will lead and manage the development and maintenance of Security Operations Center Program for E-bay Marketplaces including: §         Lead SOC integration function for security group§         Develop SOC playbook, escalation process and NOC Integration§         Assist stakeholders in resolving business issues related to SOC operations.§         Capitalize on business opportunities to refine production processes to mitigate exposure to disruption of services, and, possibly, improve day to day operations§          Lead and support technical planning and integration of acquired companies Qualifications: §         Design and lead all elements of the SOC Program.§         Manage SOC program for eBay MP and adjacency companies§         Serve as part of the infosec operations and M&A security integration team§         Ensure that contact information for all authorized contacts stays current. Out-of date contact information will impact timely ticket notification and incident escalation.   §         Serve as point-of-contact for all SOC related issues§         Implement measurement tools to track Program’s effectiveness.§         Report overall preparedness status of critical SOC functions to senior management, and prepare related presentations as required.§         Participate in the SOC initiatives, serving as the facilitator and driver of key tasks as required.§         Interface with applicable vendors, service providers and stakeholders who impact the SOC to assure the company receives appropriate services, consideration and necessary information/advisories.§         Give recommendations to management regarding the Program§         Provide feedback to vendor on service delivery so continuous improvements can be made.   Salary/Benefits: Salary commensurate with experience Job Location: san jose, CA Job Number: RUSAEBAY7099-588161 Company URL: http://www.ebaycareers.com
