Security Officers – FT & PT
Methodist Healthcare
Responsibilities include:
Providing patrol and surveillance of designated areas and reporting safety and fire hazards to appropriate personnel.
· Investigating and responding to alarms, disturbances and calls for police or fire department.
Consulting with and keeping supervisors informed of activities, needs, and problems in assigned areas. Submitting verbal and computerized reports on all observed or assigned incidents and normal tours of duty.
Controlling parking and traffic flow, enforcing parking regulations, assisting motorists and recording motor vehicle accidents.
Conducting inspection of security related equipment and auditing security procedures to include securing and unlocking of entrances and exits in designated facilities.
· Dispatching and providing emergency services as required.


Required Skills:
Requirements include:
· HS diploma/GED and 2 years’ experience in security/law enforcement required.
· Hospital experience is preferred.
· Certified as a Commissioned Security Officer with the Texas Security Bureau.

Base salary is $10.86/hr plus shift differential and an excellent benefits package.
