AlliedBarton Security is looking for a mature, hard-working individual to work in a fast-paced security command center. Qualified candidates must have at least 1 year of security experience working in a command center and advanced typing skills.

Essential Functions:

• Greet visitors that arrive to the client location
• Answer calls via phone and radio
• Monitor cameras and alarms in the console area
• Respond to e-mails
• Receive confirmation via radio from patrol officer each time they enter and leave a building
• Patrol and protect the facility to detect or prevent unauthorized activity
• Obtain and pass down incidents that will affect the following shift
• Write incident reports as dictated by post orders
• Respond accordingly to facility alarms and emergencies
• Enforce access control procedures
• Visually inspect common areas to prevent any hazards and ensure proper safety procedures are followed
• Prevent unauthorized entry/suspicious activity at the facility and upon detection, report, isolate and escort individual to a secure area
• Enforce company and client polices, rules & regulations
• Maintain an in-depth knowledge of all security orders, written and oral, pertaining to assigned duties
• Report to work on time
• Report to work in a clean and complete uniform
• Perform all other duties requested by client

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have a valid North Carolina’s driver license
• Computer literate, to include the use of Microsoft Office
• At least 1 year prior security experience working in a command center
• No criminal convictions as specified under AlliedBarton guidelines
• High School Diploma/GED, plus at least one verifiable employer; or at least 10 years of verifiable employment history
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Ability communicate effectively both orally and in writing
• Ability to maintain regular attendance to ensure avoidance of unpredictable or frequent absences or tardiness
• Present a clean, professional appearance at all times
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
