Senior Security Analyst

 

The Sr. Security Analyst is primarily focused on supporting the company's Security Program through maintaining security policies and procedures, performing security control activity reviews, and conducting risk assessments.  This position also manages security-related projects and performs investigation on security incidents.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Evaluate and recommend security solutions to current or potential security threats as they relate to the computing environmentManage security technology projects across multiple business unitsParticipate with project teams to ensure new applications and systems will comply with established security policies and standardsParticipate in formal risk assessment reviews to determine the critical points of business exposureDevelop and maintain the security standards and procedures for the administration of user IDs, Logins, and access to computer systems/networks according to security policiesTroubleshoot and resolve various Security Architecture issuesMonitor system access in relationship to job function/sensitive dataDevelop and promote security awareness programs within the companyAssist in Incident ResponseAssist internal and external auditors as requiredAssist in eDiscovery requestsPerform computer forensics as directed

 

 

EXPERIENCE/DEMONSTRATED KNOWLEDGE:

Minimum 5 years experience in the Information Technology and Security fieldRequires minimum 3 years experience at the Security Analyst levelDemonstrated familiarity with security on Microsoft Windows platforms, Unix (Solaris/AIX) and Linux. Mainframe experience a plus.Demonstrated knowledge of various network protocols, firewalls, remote access, network operating systems and vulnerabilities, PC operating systems and vulnerabilities and network management tools Excellent analytical skills, customer service skills and communication skillsProject Management experience highly desiredDemonstrated working knowledge of computer forensic software and eDiscovery tools4 year degree or equivalent Security work experienceCISSP requiredISACA and SANS certifications a plus
