Seasonal Candlemaker

 

Job Summary:

This job is responsible for supporting the day to day needs of the production of gift baskets, box sets, and other related consumer products for The Yankee Candle Company, Inc. The successful candidate will perform a variety of routine duties which involve a number of manual and automated operations, work in a team environment at a table with others to help assemble quality products in a timely manner. Prior experience constructing crafts by hand and utilizing hand and electric tools, with skill, patience, and speed is preferred.

 

Minimum Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent experience. Safety Awareness and thorough knowledge of proper lifting procedures; with the ability to stand for up to 8 hours as well as exert physical effort for weights up to 40 lbs.  Solid communication skills; with the ability to follow both written procedures and oral direction. Strong attention to detail; good hand/eye coordination; and excellent accuracy are critical.  Ability to work both independently and in a team environment essential.

Hours:

First Shift, Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM

 

Flexibility in work schedule is also required for possible overtime, work on holidays, weekends and extended hours with minimal notice and as required by operational need.

Universal Pay Scale – Pay Grade U08
