Position Summary




Responsibilities include weekly and monthly reporting as well as the scheduling and coordination of training activities. The successful candidate will independently create computer-based training products that are delivered via CD-ROM, the Internet, intranet, and/or other online formats providing service training to Samsung’s network of service technicians for all products. Other responsibilities include researching and developing technical training material includes lesson plans, technical guides and training presentations. The trainer will deliver training using on-line technology and traditional classroom style seminars. Training will be provided using on-line and traditional delivery methods. Additional duties will include analyzing repair history and determining future training activities.

Background/Experience




•     Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience in electronics/technology, with a focus on technical training
•     3-5 years of experience in component level electronic service
•     1-3 years of experience in the development and delivery of technical training
•     Computer proficiency (CAD, authoring programs and the Internet)
•     Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills
•     Technical writing and circuit analysis skills
•     Ability to travel approximately 25% - 35% of the time; potential for international travel
