Position Summary
This position will cover regions in the indicated states. In order to recruit, develop and manage Samsung business partners to include Master Dealers, distributors, direct dealers, sub-dealers, value added master dealers and direct customers to achieve proper market coverage and sales to attain assigned master plan for your assigned territory. Develop and execute sales strategies to attain the identified marketing objectives of upper management and to implement these strategies successfully in the market. Make field calls to BTA Business Partners / manage territory as needed to execute assigned master plan and achieve growth. Work with partner both internally and externally to identify and develop large fax, printer, and multi-function printer and copier opportunities.
Common Essential Duties & Resp.
- Achieve 100% sales revenue, unit budget of assigned Master Plan or assigned Quota.
- Sell proper balance of product categories, hardware / supplies
- Interact with all District Sales Manager personnel, resulting in Printer, MFP and Fax sales through distributor network ,direct dealers an assist Distributor in developing network of “indirect/ Sub Samsung dealers” that adequately attains market coverage in assigned territory.
- Develop Distributors to handle sales to Value add resellers, Direct BTA dealers, and BTA reseller channels to include inventory, advertising, credit, and training.
- Insure distributors are provided support through sales training personnel and competitive information, product launches, demonstration skills, and full participation in all Samsung Service Training course. Reviewing distributor’s performance, dealer recruitment, market coverage, unit sales, financial issues and sell-thru reports and end user sales presentations.
- Make certain that the distributor community is treated in a fair and equitable manner to insure high level of goodwill between Samsung and BTA distributors
- Command full and complete product knowledge of current Samsung product line such as features, technology, productivity and pricing.
- Work closely with Samsung groups such as order processing and accounts payable, ACS service, Demand Generation, BDM Resellers and Supply Group to facilitate a total corporate communication approach.
- Represent Samsung’s programs and promotions in a positive manner commensurate with Samsung’s policies and procedures.
- Provide senior management with creative programs that help improve sales and that provide the Samsung Distribution program with YOY.
- Initiate quick resolution to potential customer issues or contract violations by return phone calls to resolve customer complaints on a timely basis. Advise management, in writing, of market conditions or unique situations that exist. Initiate quick resolution to potential customer issues or contract violations. - Develop a knowledge base of competitive programs, channel trends and competitive products.
Necessary Skills / Attributes
- BA/BS Degree preferred or equivalent years experience required
- 5 Years minimum experience in BTA channel.
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of dealer management
- Ability to perform sales and product training
- Strong product knowledge, applications and competitive expertise
- Ability to convey needs wants and interest
