What would you be doing?

As our client’s Software Configuration Engineer, you would serve as the company’s key developer for SCM and Build Engineering across multiple software environments. Your responsibilities would include:Supporting the Change/Release/Build Management and Administration processCompiling code and maintaining development and test code baselinesDesigning, developing and maintaining build/deployment applications and engines as neededProviding support during Release and Deployment stages as neededYour talent belongs here.

We’re looking for a seasoned SCM developer with experience in multiple environments to join a successful and rapidly growing team. Here are a few things we’re seeking in the ideal candidate:Demonstrated success implementing SCM processes and tools in both web-based and client server environmentsExperience creating and customizing build automations tools in both UNIX and Windows NT and XP environmentsKnowledge in customizing SCM tools to reflect a process workflow - creating and maintaining User exits and triggers, user roles and a notification mechanismStrong proficiency in both UNIX and Windows environmentsBachelor’s degreeSolid understanding of configuration management principles and best practices would be appreciatedUNIX Shell scripting skill is a plusKnowledge of or familiarity with Telelogic SYNERGY preferredWhat’s so great about this job, anyway?
