Client is looking for a few Project Schedulers with 5-10+ years of experience supporting large heavy industrial (power plant, refinery, steel mill, etc...) construction projects. These positions are long term (2-3 year) contract opportunities located in north east NJ. The ideal candidate will have experience with project planning, project scheduling, & overall project controls supporting power plant construction projects. Your primary duty will be focused on creating construction schedules using Primavera Project Planning software. You need to be very proficient with using & creating schedules in P3 software. You need experience with Critical Path Method (CPM) Scheduling & Earned Value Analysis for large power plant EPC projects. Any experience supporting air pollution control construction projects (FGD, wet scrubber, SCR, etc...) would be a plus. Our client prefers candidates with a BS degree in Construction or Engineering, but will consider all applicants that meet the skill set. You will be expected to coordinate project reporting to clients, manage manpower requirements, monitor deliverables and BOQ (bill of quantities). Our client is only looking for candidates local to northern New Jersey. Questions you will be asked:
• Detail your experience as a Project Controls Specialist or Project Scheduler supporting large power plant EPC or CM projects. How many years of experience?
• Detail your level of expertise using Primavera P3 scheduling software. On a scale of 1-10 (10 being the best) rate your skills using these software programs.
• Detail your experience with Critical Path Method (CPM) Scheduling & Earned Value Analysis.
• Do you have any experience supporting air pollution control construction projects (FGD, wet scrubber, SCR, etc...)?
• Are you local to north east New Jersey?
