Contract position located in the Chicago, IL for a Scheduler with Primavera (P3 and Expedition) experience preferably in commercial facility construction projects. This position will be responsible to develop, establish, and maintain all aspects of planning & scheduling deliverables including preparation of schedules, tracking of actual work against schedules, performing variance analysis studies, and updating of weekly operating reports. To be considered you should have a 4-year degree in Engineering or Construction Management or Business (or related field) and approximately 10 years planning & scheduling experience in engineering, procurement, construction, and construction management using PRIMAVERA software (P3 and Expedition). Experience in commercial (public building) facility construction projects is preferred. Proficient PC skills and software skills with programs such as MSOffice (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) and MSProject is needed. Pay range listed is an approximation so all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply. Local candidates preferred although per diem will be considered for those that are eligible. Questions you will be asked:
• How many total years experience do you have working in planning & scheduling in engineering, procurement, construction, and construction management? How many total years experience do you have working with Primavera software. Do you have a 4 year degree in Engineering or Construction Management or Business (or related field)?
• Please detail any experience using P3 and Expedition to develop, establish, and maintain all aspects of planning & scheduling deliverables including preparation of schedules, tracking of actual work against schedules, performing variance analysis studies, and updating of weekly operating reports, etc.
• What experience do you have specifically working on commercial (public building) facility construction projects and what size (in $) have you been responsible for? Plus: Do you have any P3e-c experience. Please explain if yes.
