Merck will deploy this solution to its worldwide businesses. The scope of SAP solutions to be realized includes the FI, CO, SD, LO/MM, and PP modules, as well as APO, SEM, BW, GTS, XI and Portal. The incumbent will report to the Executive Director, ERP COE, and/or Project Manager.  The incumbent will be accountable for providing overall direction and integration for the EEM  module supporting configuration for the Travel and Expense process. Incumbent is responsible for deploying the Employee Expense Management module in SAP that meets the business strategy across functional teams.  Communicates and coordinates with business management, project executives and team leads to insure appropriate integration of processes and modules across the organization. Actively communicates and collaborates with the functional project manager, and/or division heads of assigned area, in an effort to support the business needs of the company. Reviews and approves work of assigned staff and guides the collaboration of business analysts, divisional super-users and area department heads.Ensures that assigned work is planned and coordinated across functional areas with other functional area leads and that assigned consultants are working efficiently. 

At least 7 years of relevant experience is required,  minimum 5 years experience in SAP Travel and Expense Management is required. Has a proven track record in management planning and resolution of organizational and business issues.

Solid knowledge of SAP EEM. Functional and technical expertise on current business solutions supporting the Travel & Expense Process. In-depth knowledge of SAP's BI reporting system is preferred. Individual contribution is required.
