The Salesforce.com Developer is primarily responsible for technical support of a Salesforce.com web implementation used for Customer Relationship Management. Responsible for resolving technical and functional support issues; identifying, documenting requirements, estimating projects for and developing new functionality; managing data loads and data quality; and managing projects to integrate data from other core bank systems with Salesforce.com. The Salesforce.com developer is responsible for design, development, testing and maintenance of custom code within our Salesforce.com web implementation.
Qualifications Advanced knowledge and hands on experience with web development tools including HTML, XML, Java, JavaScript, JSP, and servlets. This includes knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, DNS, and SMTP protocols and understanding of Internet technologies, routers, firewalls, web servers, web proxy servers, and LAN/WAN communications. Thorough knowledge of relational databases and database administration tools including MS SQL server and Oracle.?Ability to build and manage databases and data transfer for optimal performance. Thorough knowledge of client/server development and enterprise integration tools including Java (Java preferred), Visual Basic, C++, Visual Studio, Jbuilder, AJAX, and GUI development tools. Thorough knowledge of data processing and system development life cycle concepts, including migrating code from development to production environment. Excellent project management skills with understanding of business processes and ability to translate business requirements into application functionality. Has demonstrated ability to manage workload, engage IT and finance resources as needed, and coordinate support to successfully complete projects on time and on budget; Ability to self direct workload and self teach Salesforce.com platform and development tools. Strong oral and written communication skills. This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Technology/Science, or a related field and 5-7 years experience in systems development, web development, and database development; or 11-13 years related work experience. Previous Salesforce.com and banking experience preferred, but not required.
