The Cargill Global Tax & Customs function employs approximately 200 professionals.  The function is headquartered in Wayzata, Minnesota.  Sixty U.S. tax professionals work at the headquarter offices.  Other tax professionals are located throughout the world with principal offices in Sao Paulo, Buenos Aires, Mexico City, Winnipeg, London, Amsterdam and Singapore.   The Sale Tax Manager will be involved with the following: Manage U.S. transaction tax audit process. Includes audit planning, coordinating document pulls with shared service center, statistical sampling methodology review, detail review of audit schedules, identify appeal issues and draft appeal documents.Monitor legislation and advise management of its impact to our business. Oversee transaction tax compliance process and respond to compliance-related questions.Work closely with Business Units and functions on transaction tax planning.Provide transaction tax training to Business Unit and functional personnel. Principal Accountabilities

50% Manage transaction tax audits

25% Transaction tax planning and training with Business Units/Functions

10% Monitor transaction tax legislation  

10% Oversee transaction tax compliance process   

5%   Administrative and other management duties. 

Required  Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance 8+ years sales/use tax audit and consulting experience, preferably with a Big 4 consulting firm. PreferredMasters of Business Taxation Cargill, founded in 1865, is an international provider of food, agricultural and risk management products and services.
