Custom Recruiting Solutions, Inc. is a recruitment agency paid by companies to find the best quality talent available. We are currently assisting a Marietta, GA based company to find an experienced Manager, Sales Strategy and Incentives.

The ideal candidate will be "hands-on" and very analytical with the ability to perform detailed data analysis. They will have experience in the pharmaceutical industry developing call plans and compensation incentive plans.

The Sales Strategy and Incentives Group, is chartered as an in-house consultancy, responsible for certain strategic planning functions such as: Developing, documenting, selling, managing and evaluating call plans, alignments, incentive strategies, and various other ad hoc projects. Position will take an active role as innovator and independent thinker, not only identifying substantive opportunities to perform these functions more effectively and more efficiently but taking steps to turn ideas into actions and results.

Key skills / responsibilities fall into 5 core activities; Scenario Planning, Strategic Planning, Analysis & Recommendations, Communications and Project Management.


Scenario Planning

· Understand and articulate current strategies and trends in key areas

· Develop and articulate an understanding of factors influencing trends

· Consider possible impact of these factors on relevant trends

· Evaluate possible trend breaks; new directions and outcomes

· Articulate the impact of the trend breaks

· Formulate possible actions or reactions to counter or leverage trends

· Quantify costs and benefits of alternatives

· Lead customers to a clear understanding of alternatives, costs and benefits resulting in beneficial action

Strategic Planning

· Identify needs within the organization, the department or a single customer

· Develop a comprehensive understanding of the need(s)

· Translate that understanding into possible alternative solutions

· Complete quantitative and qualitative analysis to evaluate solutions

· Engage customers and stakeholders in a discussion about alternative solutions

· Work to build consensus among stakeholders and customers leading to beneficial action

Analysis and Recommendations

· Review data

· Identify trends and issues

· Formulate clear cause and effect understanding of trends and issues

· Clearly communicate findings to customers

· Recommend actions likely to increase competitive advantage

· Engage customers and stakeholders in discussions around findings and recommendations

Communications

· Identify opportunities to create strategic advantage by educating customers

· Identify core themes or ideas

· Leverage appropriate communication media

· Create compelling communications; clear understanding of how, why, when, where

Project Management

· Coordinate the efforts and resources of multiple contributing parties

· Develop creative problem resolution and problem prevention ideas and tactics

· Educating and managing customer expectations and understanding

Requirements:

Qualified applicants will have a demonstrated record of success, reflecting proficiency in the 5 core activities described above. A BS – MBA preferred. Must be highly analytical and “hands-on” with the ability to work EXCEL at pro level. While this individual will help to manage some outside consulting engagements they will be responsible to independently produce and sell internally a significant amount of analysis on their own. That means everything from identifying a question important to the organization, managing data, performing quantitative analysis, creating presentations and managing meetings. Must be able to give example of an idea, the (how) selling of idea to mixed audiences, and the results. PREFERRED SKILLS:

Familiarity with Pharmaceutical data sources and management
