Sales Consultant - Warren and Clinton Township showrooms

Partner with Art Van Guests in understanding and sharing solutions to their home furnishings needs. Process sale via computer through the Art Van retail system. Follows-up with guests to insure total satisfaction.

Requirements

We are looking for people who are high-energy, solution oriented, have a flair for fashion trends and enjoy exceeding the expectations of others. Candidates should be:

Customer focused, the ability to build strong customer relationships Attention to fine detail to ensure exceeding our customers expectations Experienced with computers, comfortable using computers and able to learn new platform Have an interest in interior design Ability to attain and apply product knowledge

Company Information

Art Van Furniture is a family-owned company that started with one small 4,000 square foot store in 1959.

Since its inception, Art Van's philosophy of doing business was to provide guests with quality furniture at prices lower than competing discount stores. At the same time, offer a full range of services that could only be found at specialty or department stores.

Area consumers embraced this formula of high quality, low prices and complete guest service. Over the years, Art Van added stores throughout the state making it Michigan's largest furniture retailer and America's largest independent furniture retailer. Yet, it remains a family owned business dedicated to the tradition of total guest satisfaction.

Today, Art Van Furniture operates 29 stores in 28 cities throughout Michigan. We employ approximately 3000 associates.
