Sales Rep / Retail Merchandiser

Service fun, fast-selling movies, music, books, electronic services and hardware. Nationwide Distributor needs to hire 3 Fulltime Sales Rep / Retail Merchandiser, who lives in or near the following cities:

Williston, North Dakota

Minot, North Dakota

Sioux Falls*, South Dakota or Fargo*, North Dakota (see note below)

NOTE: *Candidates pursuing this position MUST be available to relocate anywhere in the States of South Dakota or North Dakota after 6-8 weeks of training. The hiring company assists with moving expenses.

JOB DESCRIPTION: A Sales Rep/Retail Merchandiser maintains excellent rapport with store managers and associates, and negotiates for more floor space. He/she takes inventory, orders product, sets up displays, stocks, and completes paperwork.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates should have strong customer service skills, be outgoing and friendly, have good organizational skills, and project a professional demeanor and appearance.

NOTE: This is a physical job. You need to be able to lift 50 pounds. You will be bending, stretching, and lifting while you move product. You will get dirty.

NOTE: We will conduct a criminal background check, motor vehicle report, reference checks, and a drug screen (hair test) as a pre-requisite to hiring.

REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent (college degree or some college is preferred). We prefer you have experience in Management, Merchandising, and/or Retail Sales. Job experience in the Service Industries (waiter/waitress, bartender, hotel desk clerk) will be considered. You must have a current driver’s license and a reliable automobile.

BENEFITS/COMPENSATION: During training, you’ll be paid hourly and will be reimbursed some mileage. After training with your own Territory, you’ll be paid a base hourly amount + overtime + commission on every item you stock that is sold + benefits. Benefits include medical, dental, and life insurance; 401(k); and profit sharing.
