Position Description:

Reed Construction Data, the construction information division of Reed Business Information, is looking for an enthusiastic and results driven individual to work in our RSMeans Division in Kingston, MA. As a key member our our outbound sales group (Small Accounts Division) the ideal candidate will be responsible for the following: • Make a set number of targeted outbound telephone prospecting/sales calls to existing/former customers. • Generate and follow-up on leads through phone calls and email. • Qualify opportunities by understanding customer needs, budgets, decision-makers, and timelines. • Overcome competitive sales objections/position product against competition and customer needs. • Effectively engage and influence key decision-makers in customer accounts. • Write sales letters and proposals and respond to customer requests. • Work towards revenue growth and market development.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and attributes: Qualifications: • Experience in outbound calling in either B2B sales, collections, or telemarketing. • Motivation for telephone sales and account management. • Exceptional telephone communication skills. • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with customer base by demonstrating excellent interpersonal and communication skills. • Ability to learn new products and sales skills. • Post Secondary Degree or Diploma is desired. • Recent college graduates encouraged to apply. • Solid organizational and priority management skills, particularly in a dynamic work environment. • Strong attention to detail in oral and written communications. • Hard working and focused. • High level of initiative. • Self-starter with strong resilience. • Ability to work in faced paced, team environment.
