Based from its Corporate Headquarters in Orangeburg, NY, Olympus Surgical & Industrial America has the responsibility for the sales and marketing of the Olympus Surgical and Industrial product line, throughout North America.

An employment opportunity currently exists for a highly committed and enthusiastic individual in the following position:

SALES REPRESENTATIVE - REMOTE VISUAL INSPECTION DIVISION - WASHINGTON / OREGON

We are looking for an experienced salesman to join our Remote Visual Inspection sales team.  Previous experience selling capital, non-consumable products with a proven track record is required.  You will be working throughout Washington, Oregon and Northern Idaho, prospecting for new customers while maintaining existing customer relationships and servicing existing accounts. 

This position will include demonstrating industrial technical capital equipment, generating quotes, following through to create a successful sales opportunity and maintaining the company sales database.  You will be responsible for conducting customer training and providing on going support for customers. 

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:

ˇ         Proven record of meeting company sales targets and objectives

ˇ         Traveling in a large geographic area requiring 40% travel

ˇ         A college degree, prefer a technical or marketing degree 

ˇ         The ability to understand and demonstrate technical equipment

ˇ         Ability to prospect and develop the market in your territory
