JOB MISSION SUMMARY

These are the professionals who help us build our business in the national accounts, middle markets, small group markets, distribution channel, group insurance and specialty products areas. Their goal is to meet customer needs and help them make better decisions and about their health care and health care spending.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

An Outstanding Opportunity To Join One of Aetna's Fastest Growing Business Segments.

- Responsible for sales of Aetna's Medicare product spectrum including HMO, PPO and Supplement plans to Medicare Beneficiaries in Northeastern Pennsylvania.
- Main areas of concentration will be Lackawanna and Luzerne counties.
- Will be responsible for creating and cultivating relationships with local senior centers and various other senior organizations for the purpose of sales generation.
- Will create and carry out business plan for sales growth within territory and professional development.
- Coordinating and contacting Medicare prospects through various distribution channels.
- Coordinating meetings in local establishments for Retirees and presenting information on Aetna's plan offerings.
- Meeting or exceeding sales goals and Medicare growth in Northern Counties of PA.


Required Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Minimum 3 years sales experience in Health Insurance Sales or Account Management
- PA Insurance License required
- Strong understanding of the Northeastern PA marketplace a plus but not required.
- Basic knowledge of computer applications such as M/S Office, Outlook

- This position works from a home office.
- Valid PA drivers license required.
- Will need to have own automobile.
