JOB SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES

Under general supervision, this position will act as a liaison between the customer and Sun Chemical Corporation.  This position will have the following responsibilities:

 

1.       Provide timely press side technical service to the customer’s staff.

2.       Oversee all aspects of the ink inventory of core base components and press returns.

3.       Ensure that all ink products supplied meet the criteria agreed for functionality and performance, and in this regard work closely with the Technical Development Team.

4.       Transfer technical service data into weekly reports and graphs.

5.       Provide weekly and monthly reports to the Account Manager and the customer as required.

6.       Comply with all health and safety regulations and contribute to keeping the daily housekeeping standards at the highest level.

 

 

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

 

2-3 years web offset heatset pressroom /technical service experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and coordination skills required to anticipate and react to customer needs and maintain a strong customer focusKnowledge of Company’s products, press operation and capabilities, raw material properties, and pigments. Back ground in graphic arts or web press experience a plus.Good follow through and problem resolution abilities.Good computer skillsAbility to lift up to 50+ lbs.
