Dynamic, growing family-owned Battery Distributor is in need of a Sales Representative in the Tampa, Florida area to contribute to the continued growth of this organization.  This is an excellent opportunity with an established organization for an individual with excellent sales experience.  Knowledge of various batteries for cellular, cordless, video, laptop, etc. devices is highly desirable.  You will work with some of the brightest individuals in the industry.  You will have the opportunity to train at our facilities in New York and Chicago.

 

If you are a self starter, quick learner, fast thinker and enjoy the sales game, this could be a tremendous opportunity.  Current residence in the Tampa area is not required; a relocation program to the area is available.

 

Essential Functions:

 

Create, maintain and execute a sales plan to successfully acquire and develop new business opportunities through proposals, presentations and demonstrations;Analyze user needs, short-term and long-term corporate initiatives;Initiate and control sales processes with new clients developed through cold calls, direct mail, web-site, referrals, telemarketing, direct sales calls and attending trade shows;Project a positive presence in negotiations to maximize revenues and profits;Close and multi-task sales opportunities;Forecast market and buying trends to ensure competitiveness through market analysis of competitors initiatives/practices, tactics, services and pricing structures. 

Essential Requirements:

 

Two (2) plus years of Direct Sales in a similar or related industries desirable utilizing consultative selling skills;Proven track record and contacts in battery industry dealing with Florida clients would be beneficial;Verifiable ability to exceed targeted goals and work independently;Proven initiative and ability to generate own leads as well as excellent follow up on company furnished accounts;Excellent organizational, time management  and communication skills;Organized, detail and process oriented and a team player;Computer literate and function with Microsoft Office Products.
