Job Description Manheim, the world's leading provider of used vehicle services with 145 locations in 15 countries is seeking a Sales Representative of Financial Services for it's Boise, ID location. This position is responsible for enhancing the volume of Auction sales by developing new business and retaining existing customers.This position coordinates the sales of products offered by Manheim Automotive Financial Services (MAFS). This position maintains proper dealer finance records by accurately and efficiently coordinating and processing dealer loan requests, organizing files, monitoring credit limits and pursuing payments. Responsibilities 1. Assist manager in developing and implementing new sales programs and revising existing programs to enhance customer participation. 2. Compile list of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from newspapers, industry ads, trade shows, Internet Web sites, and other sources. 3. Travel throughout assigned territory to call on and visit regular and prospective customers in an effort to develop new and retain existing business for the auction. 4. Maintain customer contact on sale days or by phone. Attend trade shows. 5. Display or demonstrate Auction sales and services, using brochures or other materials, and emphasize salable features. 6. Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve customer problems and issues. Serve as a liaison between customers and Auction personnel to reconcile problems and to maintain a high degree of customer service. 7. Assist manager in preparation of material for promotions and advertising. Prepare reports of business transactions and sales activity. Maintain expense account. 8. Work with inside sales representatives to keep account activities and literature up-to-date. 9. Enter new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer database. 10. Perform other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor. 11. May be required to work overtime (more than 40 hours per week) as business needs dictate.
Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required. 2 to 4 years sales experience required or advanced professional sales management education. Must have knowledge of the automobile/auction industry. Strong communication and interaction skills required. Must have good organizational skills. Must be able to use general office equipment (phone, copier, fax machine, etc.). Basic computer software skills necessary. Ability to sit/drive for prolonged periods of time. Vision abilities required include close, distance and depth perception. Occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
