Job Location: Pleasant Hill, Iowa (suburb of Des Moines, Iowa)

Job Purpose:

Supports internal and external sales managers and brokers by scheduling activities; processing information.  Also provide support in office managment and receptionist duties.

Duties:

* Maintains sales department work flow by scheduling daily activities; planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel.

* Conserves sales staff and broker time by reading and routing correspondence and reports; inputting and/or formatting letters and documents; collecting information; sending and receiving telecommunications; completing expense reports.

* Scheduleing appointments with new and existing clients; handling incoming calls; overseeing appointment preperations; maintianing top client relationships.

* Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

* Completes projects by planning and organizing sales information and analyses.

* Publishes trade promotions by distributing trade promotion information to brokers, regional managers, vice president - sales, and other internal and external sources with a need to know.

* Preserves historical records by maintaining a working knowledge of information sources; verifying accuracy of statistics; entering data; backing up system.

* Maintains quality service by following organization standards.

* Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing publications.

* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Skills/Qualifications:

A positive attitude and good communication skills are a must.

Travel Logistics, Administrative and Professional Letter Writing Skills, Telephone Skills, Meeting Planning, Reporting Skills, Scheduling, Professionalism, Attention to Detail, Organization, Dependability, Microsoft Office Skills,

Insurance and Securities Liscensing will be required.
