Job Description: POSITION SUMMARY: The Site Sales Manager will have the responsibility for the execution of targeted direct sales programs designed to drive group/event business through targeted sales channels. Responsible to maintain Disney quality and ethical standards set by The Walt Disney Company. REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS: Reports to: General Manager Indirectly Reports To: Director of Sales Direct Report: Associate Sales Manager RESPONSIBILITIES: Financial/Operations: ·Develop site specific direct sales plan ·Develop and account for site specific sales budgets and tracking ·Handle all elements of pre-sold group business ·Execute site inspections and familiarization tours ·Execute site direct sales Standard Operating Procedures ·Evaluate trade related advertising and sales collateral needs ·Participate in trade related shows ·Represent ESPN Zone at Hospitality/Travel Industry Events ·Coordinate local distribution of all sales and marketing collateral pieces ·Maintain relationships with local business leaders, civic leaders, sports figures, concierges, etc. ·Coordinate all signage for special events Guest Service: ·Responsible for a quality guest experience ·Ability to empower staff to deliver the SCORE standard of service ·Ensure the highest level of quality product and service Human Resources: ·Assures that staff morale is maintained at a high level ·Take an active part in the retention of staff REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: ·Two years of sales management experience ·Event Sales/Promotions background and knowledge of the Travel Industry ·Managed group sales events ·Ability to create and nurture business relationships ·Business or marketing degree DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: ·Interest and/or knowledge of sports and ESPN
