DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Identifies targeted customer markets for both Residential & Commercial products, and develops and executes proactive marketing programs and strategies in partnership with Region.
2. Develops marketing strategy performance measures based on financial goals.
3. Responsible for implementing and managing the F.I.N.D. and Hot House Programs for the Santa Barbara market. Identify new home and MDU developments, establish and renegotiate MDU Agreements, obtain ROE access agreements to ensure Comcast services are available as a first choice to new residents.
4. Responsible for managing the Direct Sales channel through the Direct Sales Representatives and meeting sales objectives.
5. Identify theft of service targets and work with cross-functional team to develop and execute strategies that will improve the number of prospects we convert on a monthly basis.
6. Works with Homeowners Marketing Services, MOST and other vendors to make sure that we are getting quality lists of new movers and getting an offer to them quickly.
7. Identify and execute appropriate advertising targeting new movers (Apt. renters guides, etc.)
8. Oversees the development and growth of the Commercial products to meet sales objectives.
9. Responsible for managing the commercial business line through the Business Account Executive and Northern California Region.
10. Coordinates with Northern California Region marketing the expectations and programs directed by Division/Corporate to be actionable by sales channel for sales execution (Inbound, Outbound, Direct Sales, Field Tech, Retail, Front Counter/Lobby, Web)
11. Responsible for completing the subscriber, revenue and marketing operating budget.
12. Responsible for completing the monthly customer outlook forecasts and contingency planning.
13. Performs project analysis and facilitates tracking mechanisms. Analyzes data on established and prospective customers and on competitors. Prepares delivery strategies based on interpretation of Region conditions and potentials.
14. Investigates methods, costs of distribution, and advertising. Manages departmental budget.
15. Closely aligns goals with the business objectives of the Northern California Region.
16. Works closely with Northern California Region product management and the marketing team to deliver programs.
17. Responsible for conducting specialized assignments or developing programs only under general direction and guidance.
18. Performs other tasks as required.
Required Skills:
This position requires a BA or BS degree in Business, Marketing, or related area is required, plus a minimum of 3-5 years exempt level strategic product marketing and product research experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. An MBA is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite is required. Requires judgment based on precedent and department policy in the selection of alternative courses of action. This position requires moderate business knowledge of marketing operations, product management, and region research activities. Must be able to analyze problems and solve them creatively. Ability to present, organize, and convey problems/issues by applying technical knowledge and learnings to group/team. Demonstrated ability to identify and implement strategic marketing programs. This position must have the ability to interface effectively with all levels of staff.
