The Sales & Marketing Associate will be responsible for new business development through daily interaction with our prospective members in the health care practice. Supporting our growth, Sales & Marketing Associates are responsible for the initial contact with a prospect and facilitating momentum of a positive decision toward membership.

This position will be located in Austin, Texas.

Key components of the position include (but are not limited to):

Sales Support Activities

Target prospective members through background market research and direct contact Maintain prospective membership pool through telephone networking and campaigns Recruit prospective members to attend annual meetings Assist Director with relationship-building efforts Schedule marketing appointments with prospective members Hit monthly new business development outreach and scheduling goals Prepare follow-up materials after marketing meetings Participate in finalizing membership agreements and closing prospects

Marketing Activities

Monitor industry trends and institution-specific issues in order to tailor marketing efforts Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Advisory Board research and programs Prepare background institution and market research in preparation for marketing visits Assist in development of targeted marketing campaigns
