Responsibilities The Sales Manager leads and manages a sales force of approximately 8-10 Sales/Account Representatives. Responsible for qualifying new prospects and developing new business to increase customer base and sales/profits. Responsible for growing profitable volume & improving margins in packaging plants or networks. Selected candidates will be enrolled in a structured training and development program under the guidance/direction of an assigned mentor in a host region, then relocated to an assigned sales territory at completion of the program (approx. 5-7 months). Development model will be based on several blended training and project opportunities. Basic Qualifications/Requirements 4 year degree Minimum 3 years experience in commissioned, tangible product and/or B2B sales Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Knowledge in business development, product pricing, account management, market analysis, product knowledge, product line and brand management, and sales/marketing forecasting. Minimum 1 year experience in directly managing others Also: -Pricing analysis -Financial analysis -Improving margins on existing & new business -Key account planning -Coaching through non-key account goals -Develop action plans for specific customers -Provide feedback to plant management and sales force on performance related to annual/quarterly sales goals -Learn and use Next Best Alternative pricing methodologies -Results oriented with demonstrated time/territory management -Demonstrated track record of sales growth and quota attainment -Success in increasing revenues and maintaining profit margins Core Competencies Customer Focus, Problem-Solving, Managing Others, Influencing/Building Partnerships, Business Acumen
