Job Description Information:

The ideal candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree and 7 years professional sales experience. Cable Telecommunications or Satellite industry. Applicants must have a proven track record of exceeding sales goals. The ideal person needs to be extremely self-motivated, resourceful, and a seasoned business traveler. The person will maintain and grow a territory that includes some of the Midwest and portions of the South. Customers will include all of the major MSO's in the Subscription Broadcast industry and some management of some large and mid size MSOs as well as many smaller cable or Telco customers in the industry. Duties will include, but are not limited to, new business generation and retention; sales lead development, forecasting, and home-office management. The ideal candidate must also contain strong work ethics, have an astute attention for detail, can adhere to deadlines, as well as good administrative skills. Excellent written communication and verbal presentation skills are a must! The candidate must have a proven ability to build relationships with multiple customer contacts, such as, Customer Service, Technical Operations, Engineering, Purchasing and Marketing professionals. Good computer skills with a proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook for account contacts management are also desired.

Sales Calls

* Continue to increase Market Share by calling on new opportunities within the territory.
* Meeting with customers to help build relationships and strengthen UEI's importance
* System Trainings or organize trainings
* Attending National Regional and State Shows
* Preparing and presenting sales presentations for new products

Office Responsibilities

* Product Allocation, Scheduling, and Forecasting
* Contract/distribution agreements and pricing negotiations
* Customer Support
* Inventory Management Monthly Forecast and Annual Sales Planning, monthly territory report
* Weekly meeting and call report
* Expense reports
* All administrative functions for your territory
* Maintain Database
* Competitive Analysis
* Follow up telephone calls and appointments
* Contract/Purchasing agreements and negotiations

Overall Objective

The overall objective of the job is to service the Subscription Broadcast Customers within the territory and help maintain and build overall sales to new and existing customers.

Note: Must have experience with sales in hardware or electronics.
