Qualifications:

-  5-10 years proven success selling payment services into the retail market

-  Excellent written and verbal communication skills

-  Bachelor’s degree

-  3+ years experience in consultative and/or solution sales

-  Demonstrated success in complex technical sales

-  Able to work remotely from home - preferably living in the eastern region

 

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Sr. Vice President, ClearCommerce, this position is responsible for sales of the ClearCommerce payment processing and fraud management solution suite within an assigned multi-state territory - Eastern Region (east of the Mississippi).  The position is responsible for achieving quarterly and annual quotas selling into the eCommerce and Mail Order/Telephone Order (MOTO) market by matching our solutions against customer’s business requirements and demonstrating a superior return-on-investment (ROI).  Responsibilities include:

1. Prospecting and qualification of sales opportunities resulting in pipeline of activity sufficient to consistently meet or exceed assigned quarterly sales quotas.

2. Attending various company trade shows and conferences representing the company and its solutions to customers and prospects and following up on all leads generated within the assigned territory.

3. Selling new services and solutions into the established customer base within the assigned territory.

4. Developing and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the Card-not-Present (eCommerce/MOTO) market and emerging payment and fraud trends in order to align ClearCommerce solutions effectively against customer needs.

5. Developing and maintaining a strong command of ClearCommerce solutions including a demonstrated ability to: (i) make an effective sales presentation; (ii) give an introductory product demonstration; (iii) recommend solutions and pricing to management for approval; (iv) develop and present an ROI analysis; (v) present ClearCommerce proposals; (vi) organize RFP/RFI responses to ensure on-time, high quality submission; (vii) effectively negotiate proposals and agreements to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction; and (viii) maintain and report regularly on all sales and pipeline activity using company’s CRM system.

6. Developing and maintaining strong competitive insight on key industry players.

7. Providing structured and detailed product input through the Product Management organization.

8. Ensuring the successful implementation of new customers and new services for existing customers.  Ensuring customer satisfaction and that all customers are referencable.
