Primary Responsibilities:

 

** Based in Dallas TX. ** Also servicing Lubbock San Antonio and Austin

Responsible for sales activities including new account development and/or expanding existing accounts within an established geographic territory, limited industry or product line. Shares job expertise and provides guidance to other sales reps.  Responsibilities include:

1) Responsible for achieving sales quotas through the direct sale of the company's products or services. Implement sales strategies to attain sales volume, product mix and profit objectives.

2) Calls on prospective customers, masters effective sales presentations, provide technical and administrative product information and/or demonstrations, and quotes appropriate customer prices.

3) Monitors sales against forecasts and participates in the determination of market potential for the territory.

4) Works closely with customer service and operations to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

5) Provides feedback to immediate supervisor and marketing personnel for the development of marketing policy, recommended product and product line revisions as well as pricing changes.

6) Promotes the Fenwal Culture through positive ongoing relationships and activities.

7) Provides feedback regarding product simplification and standardization to enhance profitability of sales line.

8) Assists other departments within organization to prepare manuals and technical publications.

 

Specific Skills and/or Knowledge, credentials, or professional certifications:

 

1) Candidate must demonstrate ability that would translate into effective management of accounts and customer relationships in those accounts

2) Candidate must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral, as well as negotiation and presentation skills.

3) Candidate must have a demonstrated track record of sales success

4) Candidate must have demonstrated track record of capital equipment sales success, and be able to demonstrate knowledge of a complex sales cycle

5) Position requires ability to analyze and interpret data for effective sales strategies and good organization/time management skills.

6) Ability to understand and adapt to customer changing needs is essential.

7) Candidate must demonstrate business acumen and knowledge of sales processes as well as strong leadership and decision-making abilities.

8) Travel is required and may involve visits to remote or urban areas either individually or with other personnel.

9) Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2+ years of demonstrated successful relevant sales experience.
