Position Description:
Role Definition The primary focus for this role is to facilitate Sales productivity and quality through consultative relationships with the Sales team, Clients, and Prospects. This role is in pre-sales with priorities driven by the Sales forecast. The areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to Sales Rep., Client, and Prospect solution consulting, proposal generation and approval, and contract review. Other areas include contributing to the content and delivery of classroom training, the generation and maintenance of Sales reference materials, special projects as designated by management, and contribute to solution design via Product Mgmt. Skills and Talents • Verifiable experience designing infrastructure rollouts • Successful with interacting with Sales Reps. and Prospects • BS in related field or equivalent experience • 3-5 Years Experience in Windows Technical Support Role • At least one Microsoft Certification as well as well as other certifications preferred include MCSE, advanced Cisco certs., Citrix, AIX, database and Application Server configuration certifications or advanced DB experience • Proven technical and non-technical documentation Skills • Presentation experience with a wide range of audiences • Ability to efficiently multi-task in a high pressure Sales environment Functional Requirements This position will require the candidate to act in a variety of roles. • The candidate must be able to function as a technical consultant as well as a Sales partner with the common goal of providing quality solutions that achieve corporate and client objectives. • Partner with Sales Managers to define key opportunities • Contribute to Sales Qualification Process • Prepare, review, and presents Proposals as needed • The successful candidate will have a high caliper customer service focus for all Sales interactions. • Function as a champion for Sales by facilitating cross-functional decisions regarding solution improvements or the introduction of new technologies by working with internal and external parties. • This individual will have a well-balanced, creative approach to solutions with an acute attention to detail. • Communication skills must span audiences from non-technical to advance IT professionals. • This position requires a creative, forward thinking individual that can appropriately apply technology to solve business issues as well as contribute to internal process improvement efforts. • Projects as assigned by the manager
