With almost 20 years of experience in the development of monoclonal antibodies, Diaclone provides innovative kits and reagents in fields such as Cytokine Receptors, Cytokines and CD antigens.

The person we seek to hire will be responsible for North American sales of the Diaclone product line: customer account development and retention, demand generation, and prospecting for new customers in addition to providing technical support to customers. 

 The Sales and Business Development Manager will also be involved in Marketing analysis activities which will include, but are not limited to, competitive analyses, maintenance of market pricing, forecasting.   Working with the corporate office in France, this person will assist in identifying new product opportunities.  In addition, they will participate in Market Plan development and execution and act as liaison in maintaining solid working relationships with US distributors.

 This position is based at the Tepnel facility located in Stamford, Connecticut.

Details and other responsibilities:

 Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets.Support product sales and build customer relationships through telephone contact and customer onsite visits and other methods which may include email blasts.  Maintenance of records of customer account activity and profiles.Development of end user specific customer quotations and maintenance of Quotation logs.Gather real time market intelligence.  Report to corporate office in UKsharing market data to promote competitive marketing plans, pricing and product development strategies. Working with Diaclone/France and UKassist in executing a comprehensive Market Plan which may include the development of an internet presence, space advertising, trade show participation, technical literature, press releases and direct mail.Providing ongoing support to meet customer needs including developing “team” relationships with in house staff such as customer service, shipping etc.  Participate and/or attend tradeshows as the budget permits.

*Salary offered will be commensurate with qualifications presented.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a solid understanding of immunological techniques + sales experience.BA/BS IN AN AREA OF SCIENCE RELATED TO IMMUNOLOGY, 5 + years experience in Biotech/Immunology business including 2 + years in Sales. OR M.S. IN IMMUNOLOGY RELATED SCIENCE and 3 + years experience Biotech/Immunology business including 2 + years in Sales. Competent with Windows 2000, Word, Excel, Outlook, ACT, Power Point and Dreamweaver a plus.
