Our Sales Associates are enthusiastic about what they do and when customers walk into our stores they know it…  They are greeted with a friendly smile and an offer to help with their Gap shopping experience.  We are looking for talented Sales Associates to provide exceptional customer service to maximize sales and ensure customer satisfaction.

 

The Sales Associate provides an exceptional customer experience by working closely with customers to meet their needs.

           

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assesses the needs of the customer and provides the appropriate level of service and expertise; advises customers on different occasions, as appropriateCommunicates with customers about style, quality and value of Gap products; provides overall product and fit knowledge to the customer Provides courteous, helpful and knowledgeable service to the customer throughout the store, including the sales floor, fitting rooms and cash wrapParticipates in merchandise handling, including: receiving shipment, replenishment, fitting room go-backs, markdowns, and price managementFacilitates superior check out experienceParticipates in other operational activities, including visual execution, maintenance and other store support

 

REQUIREMENTS:

Desire to work with customers in a retail setting (passion for customers)Basic fashion and style trend knowledge (passion for fashion)Affinity/passion for Gap brand and productTeam oriented and collaborativeHigh school graduate or equivalentCustomer service experience preferredOpen availability and flexibility to meet customer demand and the needs of the business.
