Job Summary:The Sales Associate is responsible for all sales support to the sales team, managers, and directors. One of the key rolls in this position is to insure that all enrollments are properly reviewed for accuracy and submitted in a timely manner for immediate enrollment. An important role for this positions is also to ensure everyone complies with the CMS guidelines when submitting applications and supplying marketing materials.  Essential Functions: Check CWF for eligibility on new member enrollments Prints and distributes all lead sheets to the sales managers. Maintains all direct mail, faxes and emails pertaining to new leads. Reviews all new member applications to ensure complete accuracy before sent to enrollment Maintains and resolves all problem enrollments. Updates and Maintains Lead tracking system (Pivotal) on a daily basis. Determines commissions paid to all sales associates Runs weekly and monthly sales reports Order and maintain all Marketing materials. Provides administrative support to Director of Sales Coordinates all group sales presentations Acts as liaison with independent agents and GAs Attends meetings when required Assist with special projects as needed Research information through internet Additional Duties: Follow up on disenrollments Various projects requested by management Maintain office supplies Provide administrative services such as ordering business cards, printing labels, developing and printing flyers etc. to the sales force Provides administrative support to VP-Louisiana operations when required Supervision Received/Exercised: This position requires direct supervision on a daily basis over planning and completion of tasks. Scope of Decisions: Position requires daily use of considerable discretion and judgment  Education/Experience:        High School Diploma       Some college (preferred)       Customer service skills      1+  years experience in HMO/managed healthcare or insurance industry preferred.      Knowledge of Medicare regulations and programs helpful. Communication and Numeric Skills:      Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both with internal and external contacts.       Basic mathmatical ability.

 

Computer Skills:

·        Intermediate or better knowledge of various word processing and spreadsheet software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.·        Proficient operations of various office equipment including personal computers, printers, telephones, copiers, fax machines, etc.·        Knowledge of presentation software such as Power point, Harvard Graphics, Publisher, etc.helpful. Physical Demands:·         Light lifting of marketing materials  Other:·        Must have excellent organizational skills·        Must have a flexible schedule·        Ability to prioritize duties ·        Must be detail oriented   Working Conditions: This position will be in a climate controlled office environment during normal business hours.
