Overview
This position will focus primarily on acquiring and training clients (WYO Companies) and their agents using industry best practices and leveraging existing and new relationships within the flood insurance industry.
The ideal candidate is a highly motivated and seasoned flood insurance professional with a strategic focus and a track record of successfully planning and executing a variety of marketing strategies. This candidate must show a proven ability to lead aggressive sales initiatives, with a successful record in communicating to and interacting with executive management teams.
Requirements
• Experience in a marketing role in the financial services industry, the P&C insurance field, and/or ideally in the NFIP flood insurance market.
• Experience to product/service innovation and business requirements development to support enhancements to Company’s offerings.
• Experience assessing acquisition targets from a market/industry and strategic perspective
• Ability to support the development and refining of the Marketing Plan and marketing materials.
• Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Personal initiative and ability to work independently as well as with teams of diverse professionals.
• Superior oral and written communication skills; strong interpersonal and leadership skills for building relationships with internal customers, business leaders and project teams.
• 4 year bachelors’ degree in Marketing or other business-related discipline desired.
Responsibilities
• Help identify and assess strategic issues related to specific growth opportunities within the WYO Market including new companies, agents, products, markets and strategic relationships.
• Introduce and demonstrates Company’s services, technologies and capabilities to key executive decision makers within WYO Companies.
• Identify and support specific new product/business development opportunities in close collaboration with subject matter experts and key internal stakeholders
• Help build business cases for new products including market research, product/service offering design and development, economic analyses, etc.
• Address key strategic questions such as market size, segmentation, forecasts, trends, market share, technical feasibility and financial assessments
• Support business intelligence/market research, competitive analysis, and benchmarking activities that will shape the company's insight into the market environment, major business trends, competitive landscape, customer expectations, as well as internal operations/organizational best practices.
• Establish effective, productive working relationships with key resources and decision makers within WYO Companies and with key agents and vendors.
Areas of Responsibility
Sales / Marketing:
• Developing / Enhancing Company marketing materials (i.e., client deliverables, PPT presentations, corporate website, proposals, etc).
• Support the timely execution of the Sales and Marketing plan.
• Provide client presentations and systems demonstrations to prospective WYO Company clients and agents.
Training:
• On the company's platform to Company executives and agencies.
• Agent training for NFIP CEs.
Other Sales and Marketing duties as assigned
Travel Requirements
Candidate ideally located anywhere in Central Florida and open to Average of 75%
