Elliott Company, a world leader in the design and manufacture of rotating machinery, has a need for the following positions at its Jeannette manufacturing facility located near Pittsburgh, PA. SALES AND MARKETING MANAGER Leads the sales and marketing efforts of Elliott's Industrial Products Business Unit, focusing primarily on steam turbines. Requirements include a B.S. in Engineering and 10 years' experience in selling, managing and directing the sales and marketing efforts of rotating equipment supplied by an OEM to end users, engineering contractors and other equipment OEMs. Experience must include using distribution channels, including direct sales, sales representatives and distributors. Some travel required. MARKETING ENGINEER, TURBINE GENERATOR SETS Markets and sells turbine generator sets to end users, engineering contractors and other OEMs. This position requires 5 years of sales experience. Distribution channels include direct sales, sales representatives and distributors. Knowledge of power markets is essential. Must possess a B.S. in Engineering (electrical preferred) or related technical degree. ASSOCIATE BUYER Entry level position for a college graduate with knowledge of Supply Chain Management. Ensures the procurement of quality products from the best possible sources. Requirements include: B.S. in Business or Logistics; excellent communication skills, computer knowledge and mechanical aptitude; ability to understand drawings; and honed negotiating skills. Previous related experience in a manufacturing environment a plus. FINANCIAL ANALYST Develops monthly/annual financial budgets for Elliott's Industrial Products Business Unit, reviews and reconciles actual results compared to plan and forecast, prepares various financial analyses for management and Board of Director meetings, and closes all projects using Oracle. Qualifications include a B.S. in Accounting, 3-5 years of accounting/finance experience and strong communication and analytical skills. Working knowledge of Oracle, Hyperion, Microsoft Excel and Access preferred. QUALITY TECHNICIAN Requirements include 2-year college degree in a technical field, proficiency with PCs, knowledge of NDE and metrology, familiarity with manufacturing, ASME codes, API/ASNT standards, ISO 9001:2000, and lean manufacturing techniques. METHODS ENGINEER Immediate need for a Methods Engineer with proven CNC programming ability, shop floor problem solving/decision making abilities, mechanical aptitude, machining and assembly experience, communication skills, and computer skills. Associate's degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology or related field required.
